As a young Mauritian professional in the field of Information and Communication, I was naturally eager to assist to the international conference held on 21st and 22nd of March at InterContinental Hotel entitled ‘The Media: where do we draw the line?’. I knew that there could be no better exposure to thought-provoking debates about the media with such high profile speakers, Mr. Geoffrey Robertson, Q.C, being among the most eminent ones, who have come to Mauritius to generously impart their knowledge and experience to us. I believe that many of the attendees to this conference were in the same frame of mind.
