Written by
With the recent calamity of flash flood in the Port Louis region on 30 March 2013 which was known as the BLACK SATURDAY, Mauritius has witnessed an unexpected downpour that caused death of 11 people. Taking into consideration all the cause and effect of this calamity, it is obvious that Mauritius being a small island is an easy prey to the on going process of global climate change.

On your birthday

My dear Billy,
Allow me to send you my birthday wishes in advance.
I took the time to read the whole transcript of the PNQ of today's parliamentary session [Tuesday 2nd April]...and not once...not once did the members of the parliament put forward any practical measures to help the people of Mauritius.
