(Aug 25- Aug 29) The main indices of the international market ended last week down. Theall-share index, SEMDEX closed the week down at 1, 655.84 pts, down 0.01% or 12.78 pts. The blue chip index SEM-7, settled at 401.12 pts losing 0.01% or 5.06 pts. The return on the market index, SEMTRI closed at Rs 4424.71, down 0.01% or Rs 34.15.

Last week, 1, 939,345 shares were interchanged and the market turnover was Rs 122 million.

MLC was the weekly top gainer with 10.47% or 45 cents. The weekly worst loser was Sun Resort which saw its share price plunged by 7.23% or Rs 6.00.

New Mauritius Hotel recorded the biggest volume traded and the highest turnover.
