    Getting ready for Form III exams


    The Form III National Assessment is due to kick off in two-month’s time. The Ministry of Education has already submitted specimen papers to the Head of Departments of the 32 participating schools to get the students acquainted with the question papers which will be prepared by the MES.

    Varsity PG fees down


    Application to study at the University of Mauritius is open till June 7, 2010. For the academic year 2010/11, tuition fees for postgraduate courses will be reduced by 15%. Moreover, eight new courses will be offered on a part-time basis for those who are working.

    Developing creativity


    It has often been noticed that students lack creativity in their writing. They limit their writings to things they already know, have read or seen. Meryl Vadamootoo organised a workshop for Form V students of the Mahatma Gandhi State Secondary, Flacq, to help them develop their creativity in English writing Monday 17.
