From now on, all local broadband users' downloads will be monitored by MT.
The introduction of the 'Fair Usage Policy' (FUP) by Mauritius Telecom's French partner, Orange, in April last, is causing quite a commotion among the local ADSL-users community. A first batch of some 400 senior citizens have been vaccinated.
Some 130,000 senior citizens will benefit from the free anti-influenza
vaccination throughout the month of May. This annual initiative of the
Ministry of Social Security, National Solidarity and Senior Citizens
Welfare and Reform Institutions, expected to cost some Rs 6 million,
was launched at the Municipality of Vacoas/Phoenix on Monday.
