    Freedom of Expression and Politics do not make good bed fellows. Unlike the military and the media, no one can even conceive of ever embedding them under any circumstances as the dichotomy that separates them is far too extensive and profound. 


    The subject of Freedom of Expression has been very much in the news since last year when it made headlines several times in various local newspapers as the government was threatening to curb the freedom of the press because it did not like the way it was being portrayed by a certain segment of the print media.
