The Black History Month is being celebrated internationally and locally from January 15 to February 29. Some of the activities organised by the  Nelson Mandela Centre for African Culture Trust Fund are: The launching of an elocution contest intended for HSC and Baccalaureate students of Mauritius and Rodrigues, on January 18.

Feng Shui Annual Updates 2010 Mauritius, a conference on Feng Shui on the occasion of  the Chinese New Year, will be held at Four Points by Sheraton, Ebène from 10a.m to 3p.m on Sunday February 7.

Bhojpuri full-length play
The Academy of Performing Arts in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Human Resources will be staging Seet – Bassant, a musical folkloric full length play in Bhojpuri/Hindi, at the Serge Constantin Theatre, Vacoas, at 19:30, on Thursday February 4.
