The Director of the Mauritius Revenue Authority is satisfied, not only that Mauritians are paying their taxes but also that they have become used to pay their taxes online; an exercise which is helping tremendously to cut down waiting time and other administrative pains.

Presently, some 250 Mauritians are studying in the U.S at undergraduate, post-graduate or PhD and over the years, this number has kept on increasing. Those who have completed their course have either returned to Mauritius or started a career over there. They share their American experience with us.
