The Australian Government has selected six professionals from Mauritius and three professionals from Seychelles to take up Australia Awards Scholarships at Masters Level at Australian universities, as from January 2015.

Six of our fellow citizens will be flying to Australia for a Masters level in January. They will be undertaking post-graduate studies in Agriculture/Food Security, Infrastructure, Natural Resource Management and Public Policy. Recipients of the Australia Awards Program, our six countrymen are expected to make important contributions to the national development of Mauritius upon their return to the country.

Celebrating our laureates

Now that the HSC results are known, and the scholarships lost and won, our school leavers are about to negotiate a very crucial stage in their lives.

Since its foundation, Bhujoharry College was always amidst the hustle and bustle of the capital city of Port Louis. From this week, the college has moved to another location at La Tour Koenig, in a much peaceful and significantly spacious environment. This is a major step in the history of the college though other projects are in the pipeline.
