Dharmanand Dhooharika, the Editor in Chief of Samedi Plus has been sentenced to three months’ imprisonment by the Supreme Court. Senior Puisne Judge, Keshoe Parsad Matadeen and Justice Ashraf Caunhye have found him guilty of contempt of court. The Samedi Plus editor had published large extracts of a press conference given by Dev Hurnam in August 2010.  Ehshan Kodarbux, the Chairman of Radio Plus Ltd, was also sued for having broadcast extracts of the press conference on his private radio.
