Money : The storm in waiting
How did we reach a situation where a few conmen have been able, through a ‘scheme’, to deprive thousands of people of a total amount surpasing that of the MCB-NPF fraud, i.e over Rs 700 million?

For a fistful of dollars
My dear Billy,
What can people do for money? Or rather, what can’t people do for money? Naturally, it is an individual choice, often depending upon what it is that one is called upon to do in order to get money. But judging from the current trend, you will come to the inevitable conclusion that people will go to any length, stopping before nothing, in order to make money and more of it.

Teachers
The debate is on regarding tuition for students of Std IV. Education is not based on money. Going to tuition does not necessarily mean a student is learning more. It is a fact many teachers do it purposely, so as not to give the best of themselves during school hours and force parents to kneel before them for the tuition. One’s IQ is not same as another. Some students pick faster, some need more explanations. A good teacher is one who can understand his/her students’ performance and accordingly advise the parents what action to be taken.
