Bappoo bids for Disability Act
The protection of persons with disabilities against all forms of discrimination and of their rights, among others, is defined in various laws, but to date there is no single law specifically dedicated to the disabled. Thus, the Minister of Social Security, Sheila Bappoo, has proposed a Disability Act to better protect and defend the rights of disabled people.
