St Antoine is a small sugarcane village between Goodlands and Poudre d’Or. It lies off the main road. With the development of Goodlands new traffic and shopping centre it seems to be part of it as the construction of buildings continues and has nearly merged with it.

Orange officially launched two tablets at affordable prices in October last year. As expected by the company, more than 10,000 tablets have been sold by December 31, 2012. The tablets, says Mauritius Telecom, are now out of stock and a new shipment is expected soon.

The name is misleading. There is nothing as such indicating a community biased village. It is a small fishing village with a mixed population living on very friendly terms with each other.
