The Rapid Cargo Solution, which seamlessly integrates with the Passenger Solution, will enable the carrier to better manage its revenue accounting operations, resulting in access to accurate and timely data.

Business intelligence generated by mercator’s Rapid system will enable Air Mauritius to maximise revenue and profitability via optimising costs and increasing efficiencies. The agreement with mercator is valid for three years. Mercator, part of the Emirates Group, comprising more than 50 subsidiary companies, is a provider of business technology solutions and services including Revenue Accounting to the global airline industry.

With offices in the UAE and Thailand, mercator provides the IT systems and services including Revenue Accounting, that support world-wide operations of award winning major carriers, as well as hybrid, low-cost, and regional airlines in the Middle East, Africa, the Americas, Europe and in the Asia Pacific region.
