First New Year as MPs

New Year is approaching and each family has its own unique way of celebration. Last year, most of our newly elected MPs were just normal citizens celebrating New Year with their families. News On Sunday interviewed some of them to find out how this New Year will be.

MPS - Back to business

The National Assembly resumes debates on 26 March after more than four months of summer holidays. The main attraction at the first session will be the sitting arrangement of members with the absence of the leader of the Opposition who has ceded his post to the deputy leader of the MMM, Alan Ganoo who however told the media that Bérenger’s seat will not be occupied by another member.

Debates resume at the National Assembly on Tuesday 23 October at 11.30 am after three months of holidays. The second session of the fifth National Assembly held its last sitting on Friday 27 July at 3.30 pm for the third reading of the Supplementary Appropriation (2011) Bill.
