The history buffs among you will know that the announcement for the falling of the Berlin Wall was made on August 23, 1990. The very same night, Amit Bhoonah was born.

Mauritians in the Second World War , the first book written by Amit Bhoonah, was launched at the Robert d'Unienville Hall at the Royal College of Curepipe, on Sunday 11 November last, on the occasion of the celebrations marking Remembrance Day.

La Seconde Guerre mondiale l’a inspiré. Et pour son premier livre, le jeune auteur, Amit Bhoonah fait la part belle aux Mauriciens qui ont été au combat. « Mauritians in the Second World War » a été lancé dimanche, jour où le monde célébrait l’Armistice, au collège Royal de Curepipe.
