Passenger attacks bus conductor

Shezad T. aged 31, a bus conductor attached to the United Bus Service was attacked by a passenger on Sunday afternoon. His bus, coming from Bambous, was heading to wards Rose-Hill.

Mason in trouble
Police are investigating on a case of sex with a minor aged 15. On Friday 16th March, Jasmeen’s (fictitious name) family were very much worried. Jasmeen, residing at Plaines-Wilhems, had left her family home to meet her boyfriend, a mason residing at Camp de Masque. It was about 11 am on Friday that Jasmeen’s father found about his daughter's disappearance and reported the case to police.

The damage is substantial. Farmers are very wary of fruit flies because every year they destroy 8,000 tons of vegetables. Those most affected are the family of Cucurbitaceae (plant in the form of vines which produce vegetables such as squash, pumpkins, and cucumbers amongst others.) Fruit flies can also destroy up to 100% of certain fruits such as mangoes.

Passengers attack bus conductor
Seven passengers attacked a bus conductor at Bell-Village on Wednesday night. They assaulted him before stealing the day's receipts. After committing their crime, they ran away in the vicinity of the Venus old movie theatre. Police is actively looking for them.

Basde, aged 61, a Government Senior Surveyor residing at Forest Side was brutally assaulted and robbed on Tuesday evening at Victoria Station at Port Louis by three thugs. On the day of the attack, Basdeo and his colleagues were going to The Plantation hotel for their traditional office end of party. Basdeo said he had a few pegs at the party.

Tourist attacked
Karl A, a British tourist aged 35, was recently attacked with an iron pipe by Sanjeev C. who works as 'skipper' at Flic en Flac. He got a fractured tibia and received a blow on the head. The victim was on île-aux-Bénitiers together with three friends. The group of friends who had brought along a stock of beer soon ran short of drinks. They made acquaintance with other tourists on the island and asked their new friends whether they would agree to sell them two pints of beer.

Thugs attack girls near mountain
Last Sunday, Valerie aged 21 and Jeanne aged 19 (ficticious name), went for a stroll at Le Bocage, at the foot of the Mount Ory, Moka but nothing went as planned. The two girls, one a student and the other a hostess, are not ready to forget their misfortune. In a statement made to Moka police station, the two young women said they were in a pickup parked at Le Bocage when two hooded men approached them, swords in hands.
