Coronavirus : Air Mauritius suspend ses vols sur la Chine

Air Mauritius a décidé ce mercredi 29 janvier de suspendre ses vols à partir de ce vendredi 31 janvier sur la Chine. Cette décision a été prise dans le sillage de la propagation du coronavirus qui sévit actuellement à Wuhan en Chine.

C'est ce qui ressort d'un communiqué émis par Air Mauritius ce mercredi après-midi. 

Air Mauritius opère deux vols hebdomadaires sur la Chine via Shanghai (Shanghai Airport - Pudong (PVG). 

En revanche, les vols sur Hong-Kong, la Malaisie et Singapour sont maintenus.

Selon nos recoupements, la suspension des vols sur la Chine pourrait durer jusqu'à la fin d'octobre 2020.

CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

Air Mauritius suspends all direct flights to Shanghai Following a review of the situation with the Authorities and several stakeholders on the coronavirus outbreak, and taking note of massive cancellations from and to Shanghai, Air Mauritius has taken the decision to suspend all its flights to Shanghai with effect 31 January 2020.

Alternative arrangements are being made for our passengers travelling to and from mainland China via our hubs in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

A hotline has been opened for all passengers who wish to modify their travel arrangements on the following numbers: Mauritius +230 2077575, China + 86 021 - 6330 0538. Air Mauritius is closely monitoring the situation and has intensified precautionary measures in line with the recommendations of local and international health authorities and according to its own internal procedures. We wish to reiterate that the health and safety of our passengers and crew remain our topmost priority.
