Lindau Nobel Laureate 2016 Registration opens

The Lindau Nobel Laureates meeting, which is held annually, is scheduled from 25 to 30 June 2017 in Lindau on the theme of ‘Chemistry’. The meeting aims at bringing together young scientists from all over the world to meet and interact with Nobel laureates. The cost of participation will be borne by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources, Tertiary Education and Scientific Research and the organisers.

Young scientists are eligible to apply if they are not older than 35 years of age, they study, graduate or have graduated in Chemistry or closely related disciplines, they can provide records of distinctly above-average academic achievements, and they can provide at least one letter of recommendation (the letter should be written by a person who knows the candidate well e.g. Supervisor of the Masters or PhD thesis). 

Eligible candidates are invited to send their applications by email to the Ministry of Education and Human Resources, Tertiary Education and Scientific Research, on email address ngoorah@govmu.org by 21 October 2016 at latest. Applicants should send a letter of application, CV and their contact details including email address as well as any supporting document. More details about the selection criteria may be obtained from the website: www.lindau-nobel.org and that of the Ministry: ministry-education.govmu.org/.The nomination process is web-based.
