The family of the missing young man is still in great torment. Four days have passed and still no news of the body of Dineshwar Domah. His father Purmessur Domah, aged 57, and other family members have barely left the site of this sinister scene since Sunday. “I can’t leave my child. I have not eaten, I have had only water. I have diabetes and I am on medication,” said the grieving father.

The father even confided that they celebrated Dineshwar’s 24th birthday the day before. “I saw him before he left home for work on Sunday. It was his colleague who called me to say they are searching for ‘Sandesh’ but he is found nowhere. At that moment, I thought he had not returned from his break. On the second call, I was informed that ‘Sandesh’ was trapped and I was asked to immediately head to Shoprite Trianon.”
Dineshwar Domah had been working at the Shoprite hypermarket for more than seven years.
